Whatever way you want it…….
There are a multitude of Adventure helmets out there, but Nexx are trying to appeal to a broad church with the XD1. Enduro…check, Adventure….check, Moto X…..check, Touring……check, whichever way you want to cut it .
This flexibility is well executed and the XD1 is a well built, comfortable and quiet helmet whichever way you decide to wear it. The interesting bit for me is the add-ons which can transform it. The visor covers are interchangeable, and there are two panels on the side which can be replaced with flat sections designed to take action camera mounts. Theres also one on the top. All of which are removable so you dont have to ride around with the ugly (and often noisy) mounts still in place.
The chin vent also has various fittings, and there’s even space for a dedicated Bluetooth comms unit from market leader SENA.
